Sunday May 27
8am to 11am (Please arrive at 7:45am for prompt 8am start)
Beilby’s Beach path, Nambucca Heads

About this Walk

Reconciliation means different things to different people. At the heart of the process, reconciliation has elements of truth, justice, forgiveness, healing, reparation, and love.   None of these is possible without relationships of understanding and acceptance.

Over the millennia we have forgotten the sacred part of nature and our belonging to it.  We spend our lives indoors and have cut ourselves off from others who are different from us.

On this Nature Therapy walk we will use nature to help us explore who we really are, to reconsider our relationships with ourselves, each other and the environment around us.

Meeting Spot

Look for the grassy carpark on Parkes Street (on the right), just past the corner of Pilot Street.  We will meet on the opposite side of the road at the start of the Path to Beilby’s Beach.  View Meeting Spot on Google Maps.

Important things to note

There are no toilets available on this walk.  Please tend to your bathroom needs before you arrive.

This walk will start promptly at 8am, therefore it is suggested you arrive at 7:45am to receive the necessary briefing.  If you are expecting to arrive after 8 am, it is our preference that you reschedule your walk for another time.  In the interests of other walkers who arrive on time, we appreciate your co-operation.

In the case of rain, a note will be put on the Facebook page event if cancelled.   Generally if it is just a shower or sprinkle the walk will continue as this is a beautiful opportunity to explore our relationship with water.   If it is a  storm which threatens our safety, it is likely to be cancelled.  If in any doubt don’t hesitate to call Lucy on the day on 0417 927 657.
